The Mississippi Consumer Finance Association (MCFA) is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to supporting, representing, and advancing the personal installment lending industry in Mississippi.

Founded in 1958, MCFA has spent more than six decades serving as a unified voice for consumer finance companies across the state. Our members include independently owned businesses, regional lenders, and other companies and professionals committed to providing responsible consumer credit to Mississippi families and communities.

Our Mission

MCFA’s mission is to advocate, educate, inform, and connect Mississippi’s consumer finance industry.

We closely monitor legislative and regulatory developments that affect our members and work to ensure that Mississippi lawmakers, regulators, and other decision-makers understand our industry, the customers we serve, and the important role consumer finance companies play in communities throughout the state.

Advocacy & Industry Representation

A strong industry requires a strong voice.

MCFA actively represents the interests of its members before the Mississippi Legislature and works closely with the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance on regulatory matters affecting the industry.

Through legislative advocacy, industry representation, legal resources, and ongoing communication with policymakers and regulators, MCFA works to promote a fair and responsible environment in which Mississippi consumer finance companies can continue to serve their customers and communities.
